The Spotlight Soirée is TRYPS Children’s Theater’s signature fundraising event, where theater, imagination, and philanthropy take center stage. More than your typical gala, the Soirée invites guests into an evening of theatrical surprises, interactive entertainment, and unforgettable experiences. With playful twists, unexpected adventures, and plenty of opportunities to join the fun, every year brings a new experience to enjoy. At its heart, the Spotlight Soirée celebrates the magic of theater while raising vital funds to help TRYPS teach, reach, and inspire more young people through the arts.

 

What you can expect: food, decorations, costumes, and a full production featuring TRYPS teens with familiar fundraising components and games all centered around a different theme each year. Guests are encouraged to dress to the theme and engage in the fun in new ways with each event.

 

Past events have featured performances by local drag artists, performances from featured TRYPS staff, a hobby horse race with the winner determined by donations, and more!
