Junior Show Choir

WHAT IS JR. SHOW CHOIR?

Open to grades 5th – 7th

Show Choir blends choral music study with choreography. It is small group vocal class. Students work on pitch, placement, breath support, blending, holding harmony, confidence, and strengthening vocal range.

At the same time, students will be challenged to learn simple choreography – much like the television show GLEE. This training is ideal to work on musical theatre skills – dance, singing, breath support, movement, coordination, focus, and energy!

The group works on ensemble songs, some with small solos or duets, and perform a free Open House recital on the last evening of class. Tickets will be given to each student based on enrollment and seating capacity in the TRYPS Little Theatre.
